What we collect

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the email address you provide, and — only if you choose to give them — your name and a mobile number. If you opt in to SMS reminders, we store that consent alongside your number. We also collect limited, anonymized usage data through Google Analytics to understand which prayers and pages are read.

How we use it

Your email is used to send the newsletter and occasional prayer reminders. Your mobile number is used to send SMS reminders only if you have explicitly opted in. We never use your contact details for anything you did not sign up for.

We do not sell or rent your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data with anyone for promotional purposes. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers. This applies to your email address, name, and phone number.

Third parties

To deliver the newsletter and store your subscription, we use two trusted services: Brevo for sending email, and Supabase for storing your subscription record. Each handles data under their own terms and privacy policies. Google Analytics processes anonymized usage statistics. No other third party receives your personal data.

Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies. Your reading preferences — theme, text size, and contrast — are stored locally in your browser and never sent anywhere. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure anonymized traffic. You can block or delete these through your browser settings or a privacy extension at any time.

Your choices

• You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send.
• You can disable SMS reminders by replying STOP to any message.
• You can block analytics cookies through your browser or a privacy extension.
• To request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold about you, contact us.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be noted on the site.
